Metal Framing Screws for the connection of overlapping furring hat channels in drywall framing assemblies. 
Overlap the furring hat channels by at least 6" (avoid any overlap in front of studs). Then fasten the overlap with these Metal Framing Screws by screwing them into the angular sides of the channels. We recommend to NOT screw into the face of the channels to ensure the drywall laying flush against the channel face.
